Rainy Weekend & MS-150
This weekend was supposed to be the MS-150 (bike ride from Houston to Austin). Dada has been practicing for this ride for months! Unfortunately, it started raining Friday afternoon and didn't stop until late Saturday night. The first half of the bike ride was canceled, but day 2 was still on. Dad rode his bike from La Grange to Austin in a 20 mph headwind on Sunday. Mom & I picked up Grandma & Big Papa early Sunday morning & headed to Austin to watch Dad & his fellow Spazmatics finish the ride. From what we hear there was a lot of talk of sagging it in, but everyone finished the ride. Way to go Spazmatics!!!
